OFFICERS are appealing for information after two men were arrested in connection with an incident in Westcliff.
A police statement said: “We believe there were two incidents involving two men in the area of Palmerston Road and Station Road, between 2pm and 4pm on Tuesday 11 February.
“Both sustained injuries which are not believed to be serious.”
A 54 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary while a 46 year-old was arrested on suspicion of GBH without intent.
Both men were released on bail until 3 May.
The statement continued: “This is a busy area of Westcliff and we believe there will have been a number of people who will have seen one or both incidents and we need them to come forward.
