Westcliff burglary appeal

Police would like to identify this man.

POLICE are appealing for the public’s help to identify a man in connection with an on-going burglary investigation. Officers were called to an address on Genesta Road in Westcliff shortly before midnight on September 11 following reports of a residential burglary.

The victim was woken up by a noise downstairs and when they reviewed their CCTV cameras, they saw an unidentified man entering the house via their window.

Video doorbell footage also saw the suspect attempt to open the victim’s car door. Essex Police said: “We are releasing an image if a man we want to speak with in connection with this investigation.
