THE Belfairs Woodland Centre in Leigh will host a special musical evening this September.

This special event offers audiences the chance to enjoy an evening of high-quality live choral performances in the beautiful setting of Belfairs Woods.

The Battle of the Choirs event sees five local choirs engage in a fun competition, with each bringing their own style and repertoire, ranging from uplifting popular arrangements to traditional harmonies. In a unique twist, the audience will act as the judging panel, casting their votes to decide which choir will be crowned the winner.

Admission is free, making the event accessible to all, though a retiring collection will be held in aid of the Belfairs Woodland Centre Awning Fund, supporting ongoing improvements to this valued community venue.

The Woodland Centre Café will be open during the evening, serving refreshments.

Guests are also encouraged to bring along their own picnic to enjoy in the woodland surroundings. Please note that audience members should bring a chair for their own seating comfort.
