Belfairs Dog Show

DOG lovers joined forces for a dog show at Belfairs Park woods.

The Belfairs Dog Show is an annual event that supports the Essex Wildlife Trust.

All enjoyed a fun afternoon, with classes for canines in Best Veteran, Best Puppy, Best Junior Handler, Best Condition; Prettiest Bitch; Handsomest Dog; Dog The Judge Would Most Like To Take Home and Best In Show.

Anna Firth, the Conservative Candidate for Southend West & Leigh, helped judge the winners.

The Centre was Trust Belfairs Nature Discovery Centre open for refreshments all day.

A spokesperson from Essex Wildlife said: “Thank you so much to everyone who came along to the Belfairs Fun Dog Show on Sunday.

“What a gorgeous day to be out on the field!

“Thanks to all of the stallholders and programme advertisers, without you we would not get off the ground!

“To all the Essex Wildlife Trust staff and volunteers who stopped the organiser going mad this week.

“To Keith Evans for doing such a great job with the judging – and Anna Firth for presenting the Best In Show.

“Lastly to everyone who came and took part. We had a great time and we hope you did too.”
