Leigh On Sea News: Business Awards 2027 – ARE you aware of a Rochford District business, service, employer or sole trader that deserves special recognition for their achievements, approach or attitude over the past year? Are you proud of the achievements of your own business? If so, get your entries in for the Rochford District Business Awards 2027.
The Rochford District Business Awards is hosted by Rochford District Council to recognise and celebrate the achievements of its business community over the last 12 months.
This year, Rochford District Council is pleased to announce The Rayleigh Club as the new headline sponsor of the Rochford District Business Awards. The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 11 February 2027 at The Rayleigh Club’s picturesque venue on Hullbridge Road, Rayleigh.
For 2027, the Council has refreshed some of the award categories to make them more inclusive and to recognise a broader range of businesses across different sectors and sizes. Categories include Growing a Business, Making a Difference, Sole Trader of the Year and Visitor Economy.
Following the introduction of the ‘Sector Champion’ category last year, which rotates annually to spotlight key local industries, the Council has chosen Health and Care as the focus for 2027.
Businesses across the sector are encouraged to enter, including GP practices, dentists, pharmacies, care homes, domiciliary care providers, therapists, wellbeing services, specialist clinics, medical technology providers, rehabilitation services, and businesses supplying products or services to the health and social care system.
Coun Adi Malviya, Leader of Rochford District Council and Chairman of the Strategy, Finance, Policy & Economic Development Committee, said: “The Rochford District Business Awards are a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the innovation, resilience and hard work of businesses across our district.
“This year, we are pleased to introduce refreshed categories that will make the awards more inclusive and recognise businesses of all sizes and sectors. We are also delighted to welcome The Rayleigh Club as our new headline sponsor and look forward to working with them to deliver another memorable awards ceremony at their venue in February.”
