Butcher Burglary - The Police are appealing for information following a burglary at a butchers in North Road, Westcliff.

THE Police are appealing for information following a burglary at a butchers in North Road, Westcliff.

A spokesperson said: “We are appealing for any information in relation to a burglary at a butchers in Westcliff.

“The incident reportedly happened between 6pm on Saturday 21 December and 6am Sunday 22 December at Lothian Meats in North Road.

“An unknown number of suspects forced entry to the building, taking two till drawers, chip and pin machines and stock from inside. They also took a number of Christmas presents being stored in the shop.

“Our investigation into the burglary is ongoing, and we are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to get in touch with us.

“We also want to hear from anyone with doorbell or dashcam footage from the area of North Road around the timeframe of the incident.

“Please quote incident number 254 of Sunday 22 December.
