A UNIT for growing cannabis was discovered alongside a car “chop shop”. 

Essex Police’s stolen vehicle intelligence unit located the chop shop in the Rayleigh area.

 Officers discovered a stolen Range Rover SVR which had been partially stripped, and also found a second unit used for growing cannabis.

A spokesman for the Essex Police said: “Following work by us, we located this chop shop in the Rayleigh area. 

“This beautiful SVR (stolen) partially stripped unfortunately.

“We then found a second unit in use – for growing cannabis too!”

Police investigations are on-going.
