A LEIGH church will be holding a Flower and Craft Festival this summer to celebrate their centenary.
Visitors are welcome to Our Lady of Lourdes Church’s celebration of the natural world in a display of flowers and crafts in the church, which was built in 1925.
The event will take place at the church, on the corner of Marguerite Drive and Leigh Road, from 11.00am -4.00pm on Saturday July 5.
Refreshments will be available in the Parish Centre next door, with a collection on the day for Southend charity HARP.
Jo Ronan, organiser added: “Come along and help us to celebrate 100 years since the opening of our Church building in the centre of Leigh.”
