WITH the hot summer sunshine just around the corner, former MP for Southend West and Leigh Anna Firth’s free suncream campaign for the local Community has just received some very good news.
Chrissy Nichols from Atlantic Pacifics Unity in Community has stepped in to sponsor factor 50 suncream refills for Anna Firth’s free Suncream dispenser, located on the wall of the Chalkwell Shelter at Chalkwell Beach.
Ms Nichols who is also the chair person for the Lady McAdden breast cancer charity said: “It is vital that families and young children should have access to free suncream lotion when they are at the beach, to protect them from the harmful effects of the suns rays and to help reduce the number of skin cancer cases in the Community each year”
