Charity Fashion Show

A CHARITY fashion show raised money for local Westcliff businesses.

Eliza Boutique, based in Hamlet Court Road, held their summer showcase of Powder fashions at The Lounge Club, in Aviation Way.

Owner Beverly said: “It was a really lovely evening.

“We have a lovely bunch of ladies as our models, all made up from our local bruises network.

The diverse range of models all have business in or locally in Westcliff.

“It is a very inclusive event, and was very well received.

“We also had our hair kindly done by Simon Christopher hairdressing, based in Hamlet Court Road, which was lovely.”

Eliza will be holding another charity fashion show as part of an event with The Southend Mayor this October at Genting Casino on Westcliff Seafront.

The event is to raise money for Southend Mayor’s chosen charity, In aid of Havens Hospice and The Music Man Project.

Tickets include a welcome drink, lunch and fashion show, starting at 12pm on October 26.

Tickets for the three-hour event, with proceeds going to support local hospice care, are £25 per person.
