Charity Garden Flourishes

A CHARITY has thanked volunteers for helping improve a site in Rochford that supports people with disabilities.
Hamelin, an Essex-based charity supporting autistic adults and people with learning disabilities, welcomed staff from Savills Chelmsford to its Gowlands site in Rochford.
Hamelin staff said that team worked hard to help improve the garden, making it even more welcoming for Hamelin’s guests, their families and staff.
Their efforts included painting, relandscaping the island garden, and removing and installing a new garden fence, as well as generously funding the materials needed for the project.
A spokesperson for Hamelin said: “A huge thank you to the amazing team at Savills Chelmsford, who spent the day volunteering at our Gowlands site
“Your contribution is truly appreciated and will make a real difference to the lives of the people we support.
“Thank you for such a brilliant example of community partnership in action.”
