A CHARITY facilitated a community lifesaving session in Leigh.
The Carli Lansley Foundation, whose motto is “keeping young hearts healthy”, held the session alongside Pronto Training Broadway Belles WI (Women’s Institute) on January 30.
The foundation was started by Karl and his children Jess and Ethan, in memory of Carli Lansley, their beloved wife and mother, who died aged 36 in her sleep from Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome.
A spokesperson for the foundation said: “Our Foundation is incredibly proud to be involved in this unique initiative to bring the vital skills of confidently performing CPR and using a defibrillator
Thank you to Lynda for contacting me about these sessions and for arranging the evening.
“Thank you also to all the ladies from the WI who attended. And, of course, a huge thank you to Joanne at Pronto for providing another amazing, informative session.”
Further sessions are booked for March 18 at Mega Centre, Rayleigh and April 22 at Fitzwimarc School, Rayleigh.
