WORLD Christmas Jumper Day (December 12) was a chance to ‘pull together’ for a worthy cause.

This year, Mid and South Essex Hospitals Charity encouraged everyone to don their jolliest jumpers to raise funds that will help improve hospital facilities and patient care for children.

Whether it was a sweater with snowmen, a reindeer rollneck, or a pullover with presents on it, each woolly wonder helped support the children wards at Southend, Basildon and Broomfield hospitals.

Elise Fleetwood, Events and Corporate Relations Manager for Mid and South Essex Hospitals Charity said: “Christmas Jumper Day is a brilliant way to spread a bit of joy, while making a real difference for young patients.

“Every donation helps us provide better care and support to those who need it most.”
