The free-entry, family-friendly event promises a day filled with festive fun, all while emphasizing sustainability and supporting the local community.

This year’s Eco Fayre features over 40 unique stalls offering eco-friendly and ethically sourced Christmas gifts, second-hand books, toys, and delightful bric-a-brac.

Children’s activities include fun and games, face painting, and plenty of delicious refreshments and cakes.

For those seeking ideas on how to celebrate the season sustainably, there will be info points providing practical tips and guidance.

Volunteer organiser and church member Julie Eady said: “We’re so proud to host this event for the 12th year running!

“It’s a fantastic way to come together, celebrate the spirit of Christmas, and discover new ways to reduce our environmental impact. Every year, we’re inspired by the community’s support and the positive changes we can make together.”

10% of the profits will be donated to the charity Southend Christians Against Poverty Debt Advice Centre with the rest of the profits supporting the work of the LRBC in the local community this Christmas and throughout the year.

A spokesperson added: “Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy a festive day out that’s both joyful and planet-friendly.

“Head to LRBC, Marguerite Drive, on November 16, and let us make this Christmas memorable and sustainable together!”

The fair will run from 10 am to 3 pm.
