Leigh On Sea News: Confirming Resignation Letter – FOLLOWING doubts raised by some local residents, who felt past councillor Flewitt’s resignation letter was ‘ambiguous’ about whether or not he had actually resigned, Mr Flewitt told the Leigh-On-Sea News: “For the absolute avoidance of any doubt, I have (on the 22nd May 2024) resigned from Leigh Town Council and have no intention of returning to this Town Council.”
