A LOCAL art charity is now a designated warm space in Hadleigh, providing free craft session for the community

The Art Ministry has joined the national Warm Welcome Spaces initiative thanks to funding from the Government’s Community Organisations Cost of Living Fund, delivered by the National Lottery Community Fund.

A spokesperson said: “The Art Ministry’s Warm Welcome Space is a great place to connect with your community, to make new friends, while spending a couple of hours doing art and craft activities get creative and keeping warm.”

The Art Ministry’s Warm Welcome Space is at 1 Church Road, Hadleigh, Essex, SS7 2DQ.

They are open to adults on Mondays and Tuesdays from 11 to 1, and Thursdays from 2 to 4. They are open to children on Mondays from 5 to 7.

The sessions are free to attend and the group provide a hot drink and materials.
