A DRUG driver caught behind the wheel under the influence of drugs has been hit with a ban.
Paul Fisher, of Neil Armstrong Way, Leigh, was driving a Range Rover on the A12 in Chelmsford when he was found with 299 micrograms of an amphetamine per litre of blood in his system. The limit is 250.
The 40-year-old admitted the offence at Chelmsford Magistrate’s Court and has now been banned from driving for three years.
He was also fined £120, ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs, and a £48 surcharge to victim services when he appeared in court for sentencing.
