Drugs Offence Charges - OFFICERS investigating the sale of cocaine in Rochford have secured charges against two people.

OFFICERS investigating the sale of cocaine in Rochford have secured charges against two people.

They carried out a warrant at an address in the town on Thursday 3 April and found a quantity of cocaine and cannabis inside. A man and a woman were arrested. They have now both been charged.

Breda Samson, 69, of Rochford Garden Way, Rochford, was charged with: Possession with intent to supply a Class A drugs; Being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs; Possession with intent to supply Class B drug; Acquiring, using, or possessing criminal property.

Philip Wilkopp, 37, of no fixed address was charged with: Possession with intent to supply Class A drugs; Being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs; Acquiring, using, or possessing criminal property.

They both appeared at Southend Magistrates’ Court on Friday 4 April and are next due to appear at Basildon Crown Court on 2 May.
