A MAN has been arrested following a drugs warrant in Rochford.

Officers carried out the warrant at an address in Southend Road shortly before 6.30am on Friday 4 April as part of an investigation into the supply of Class A drugs.

During the operation officers discovered a quantity of drugs as well as large amounts of cash.

A 40 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, possession of Class B or C drugs, and acquiring, using, or possessing criminal property.

He was taken into custody for questioning and has since been released on bail until 3 July.
