THE Southend Boys’ and Girls’ Choirs have invited The Southend Wind Orchestra and Cantare ladies’ choir to join them in a free concert in Westcliff to raise funds for the Turkey – Syria Earthquake Appeal.
The concert takes place at 8pm on Friday, March10 in the Kings Road UR Church, Westcliff.
The groups will each perform their own repertoire in the concert, and join together for a finale, and the evening will include performers from the age of 8 to 88!
The Southend Boys’ and Girls’ Choirs perform across London’s major concert halls, including singing in the BBC Proms and at the Royal Festival Hall.
The free concert will include popular repertoire and music from stage and screen. There will be a collection to raise funds for the DEC Earthquake Appeal.
