EASTWOOD Community Centre will be holding an Easter Community Day on Sunday April 2, from 10am until 4pm.
The Community Day will see a grand opening by Southend’s Deputy Mayor, Coun Stephen Habermel, at 10am.
Centre manager, Verina Weaver, said: “We are holding this event this coming Sunday.
“There will be over 20 craft stallholders with everything from beautiful cup cake bouquets to unique jewellery, as well as knits/crochet work and sewn goods, Avon, Body shop and Usborne & Eastwood Lions too, as well as raffle and Tombola stalls.”
The Community Day will include face painting and sweets for children, along with a free Easter Egg Hunt and prizes for all clue sheets correctly filled in.
Refreshments will be available all day and entertainment will be provided by the Ladybirds Song Group.
There will be a 50p entrance fee for adults, although children will be admitted free.
