AN Easter community day was well attended at Eastwood Community Centre.
Over 200 people attended the event, which was opened by the Deputy Mayor, Coun Habermel.
The Ladybirds Song Group, who provided entertainment, and children enjoyed a free Easter Egg Hunt.
A spokesperson said: a busy and enjoyable day was had by all.
“Big thanks to Jenna Rosetta Fryer who organised a large raffle in aid of the Eastwood preschool and the Community Centre. Also, to Jessica Lansley for giving up her Sunday to help us on the door.
“Our next big event will be our Coronation Community Tea on Monday 8th May, from 3 to 6 pm, with a full afternoon tea with entertainment for £7.50.”
