THE Endeavour Trust held a summer reception fundraising event at the Osbourne Bros Sea Food Café on Billet Wharf, in Old Leigh.
The Trust’s Chairman, David Norman MBE, was also presented with cheque for £1,200 for the Trust by Eileen Harris, Vice President of the Lions Club of Leigh.
The money was raised during the recent Shanty Festival held in the Old Town.
Supporters enjoyed a sea food meal, raffle and musical entertainment provided by the
The Hoy Shanty Crew.
The Endeavour Trust is a charitable organisation dedicated to restoring and maintaining the little ship particularly famous for taking part in the WW2 Dunkirk evacuation.
