A LEIGH trust dedicated to supporting an historic boat has announced its Laying Up Supper.
The Endeavour trust will be holding its charity celebration meal to mark the end of the Dunkirk “Little Boat’s” season in Chalkwell Park Rooms.
The event, on Friday Novemebr 1st will start at 7pm for 7.30 pm and promises to be a wonderful opportunity for everyone to gather, celebrate the end of the season, and enjoy an evening filled with good company and entertainment.
The Endeavour is famous for having taken part in Operation Dynamo that evacuated many servicemen from the beaches of Dunkirk during in the Second World War.
The menu ranges from Terrine of Salmon and Crab and Thai fish cakes for starters, plus Roasted Sirloin of English Beef or Grilled Sea Bass for main courses. Desserts include summer fruit profiteroles and tiramisu.

As always, there will be a raffle.
