THE Orpheus Singers, together with Southend Wind Orchestra will present their Annual Festival of Remembrance at the Kings Road United Reformed Church, Crowstone Road, Westcliff on Saturday 9th November at 7.30pm.

Military Personnel will be in attendance with Standard Bearers.
The Orchestra’s musical theme will cover a selection from Martin Ellerby’s Commemorations, Malcolm Arnold’s Padstow Lifeboat and Edward Elgar’s Nimrod.
Choir song titles cover Carly Simon’s Let the River Run, Paul Mealor’s Wherever You Are to Franz Biebl’s Ave Maria.
Audience participation will also be encouraged for a rousing Keep Smiling Through compilation and a selection of Songs of the Great War.
The traditional Act of Remembrance will be conducted by Reverend Geoff Wright of Kings Road URC.
Proceeds to the Royal British Legion and the Soldiers’ Sailors’ and Airmen’s Families Association (SSAFA).
