HOLIDAY makers enjoyed the first flight of the season to Palma de Mallorca from Southend AirPort.
The airport ran a ran a Facebook livestream in partnership with aviation-guru SDTV Spotter Dedicated TV following two jets as they headed off for sunny climes.
A Southend Airport spokesman said: “Great to see two easyJet tails on the ground this morning with flights to Palma de Mallorca and Malaga.
“Massive thank you to SDTV Spotter Dedicated TV for the livestream coverage on Facebook and to our (un)lucky passengers in The Snug for agreeing to snap a holiday photo.”
The event came a month after the airport opened the season with its flight to Malaga.
