A WELL-attended music night in Hamlet Court Road brought the sounds of the 60s to Westcliff.
Over 100 guests enjoyed a fundraising Swing-along-a-60s night at The Haven Community Hub, run by Age Concern Southend.
Guests enjoyed a selection of nostalgic and swinging tunes from music’s most wonderful era, played live by the 60s Jukebox band.
Attendee Jilly Henderson-Long said: “Dressed for the occasion, the four ladies and one man of the band kept us dancing in our seats and on the dance floor for just over two hours – and they performed free of charge, so that the centre benefitted from all the cash raised on the night.
“It was truly a fab night. Roll on the next one!”
