STAFF at Rawreth Court nursing home in Rayleigh, operated by Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT), have been awarded the Gold Standards Framework (GSF) Hallmark Award, achieving an impressive score of over 96% in their assessment.
The team received the award after successfully completing the end-of life care training programme and demonstrating how the GSF framework has been embedded throughout the nursing home for the past two years.
Alina Kutraite, Registered Nursing Home Manager at Rawreth Court, said: “I am delighted that we have received this accreditation. It is the result of a lot of hard work by the whole team.
“This accreditation provides us with a proven framework to provide high-quality care for our residents and enhances the self-confidence and skills of our staff.
“I am so proud of the whole team at Rawreth Court and would like to thank everyone who supported us throughout this process.”
In their feedback, the GSF assessor praised the team at Rawreth Court for their dedication and passion in providing high-quality end-of-life care for residents.
This achievement reflects the hard work, compassion and commitment of the entire Rawreth Court team and their continued dedication to providing person-centred, dignified and high-quality care to residents and their families.
The GSF provides a systematic and practical approach to best practice, helping ensure that high-quality end-of-life care becomes standard for every resident. At Rawreth Court, the framework supports staff to identify residents’ needs at each stage of their lives, understand their wishes and preferences, and plan their care accordingly.
Rawreth Court provides nursing and dementia care for residents on a permanent or respite basis.
