A HOMELESS charity has thanked community donors to their Harvest call out.
HARP, Southend’s leading homeless charity, collected supplies from the local area’s schools and businesses over September and October.
A spokesperson for HARP said: “We would like to extend heartfelt thanks every single person in our community who has donated towards our harvest collection this year.
“This Harvest, essential supplies were collected from over 46 local schools, churches, companies and community groups.
“Thanks to these donations, HARP can continue to provide warm and nutritious meals for our residents and those sleeping rough throughout the colder months ahead.
“you are amazing.”
With temperatures currently dropping, the charity is now also urgently appealing for sleeping bags to support those facing homelessness in Southend. If you’re able to help, please consider donating a sleeping bag at the York Road Bradbury Day Centre.
Every donation helps bring warmth and comfort to someone experiencing homelessness.
Drop-off location: Bradbury Day Centre, 103-107 York Road, Southend-on-Sea SS1 2DL.
A spokesperson said: “Thank you for your kindness and support during this cold season. Together, we can make a real difference.”
