A SOUTH Essex charity is on the hunt for volunteers to help them with their charity Christmas tree collection service.
Havens Hospice are looking for helpers for this service, which raises vital finds for towards supporting children with life-limiting conditions, across South Essex.
The role will involve collecting real trees from homes who have paid a minimum £7 donation towards the service.
The trees will then be shredded, and the chippings recycled.
A spokesperson for Havens said: “As autumn has said hello, it seems the festive period is right round the corner, and we need your help.
“Havens Hospice is looking for volunteers with vans to help our charity Christmas tree collection on January 10, 11, and 13 2025.
“This service has been a great success and continues to grow each year, helping us raise vital funds to support families that rely on our care.
