Hockley Cleared For Christmas

ROCHFORD District Litter Picks team has been active in Hockley, tirelessly working to improve the town for residents and visitors.

As always, they found a whole host of unusual items in the area, including a boot, a camera speaker, and road sign bases.

A spokesperson said: “Beautiful blue skies and sunshine in Hockley as we litter picked.

“Unusual finds include an old boot, Bailey’s bottle, toy car, camera, speaker, golf ball, vapes and rubber base of road signs.

“We covered Main Road, streets around Hawkwell Chase, Hockley Library car park, Betts farm estate, cost cutters, and the surrounding areas.

“We also reported the overflowing recycling bins- which will be emptied.

“Thank you everyone for a great turnout.”
