Maicie Rayner was crowned IJM Miss United Kingdom Teen 2024, before travelling to Virginia, USA, to represent the United Kingdom and compete against teens from across the globe.
At this competition, she became the first UK participant in 16 years to win the title of International Junior Miss Teen in America.
Miss Rayner said: “To come home with the title of International Junior Miss Teen is such an incredible honour, and it means so much to me.
“It’s not just a personal achievement, but an opportunity to be a positive role model for others, especially young girls who might be looking for inspiration.”
Beyond her pageant success, music is the main vehicle of Miss Rayner’s work. She is a passionate singer-songwriter who has recently released her latest track as a vehicle for good works.
She explained: “My music has already gained over 60,000 plays on Spotify, and I’m thrilled to know it’s resonating with so many people.
“I use my voice to create change and aid my charity work, hosting events this year to raise awareness and funds for causes I care deeply about.”
Miss Rayner recently raised £4,000 through charity events, including a charity ball and a singing gig she organised in aid of local hospice Little Havens.
She added: “Through music, I’ve seen first-hand how art can bring people together and make a difference in the lives of others.
“This title has given me the platform to empower others, inspiring them to use their passions to make a difference,” she added.
“I truly believe that when we embrace what we care about, we can create change, and I want to encourage others to do the same.
“I feel so grateful to be able to give back in this way.
“This is just the beginning of what I hope will be a long journey of making a positive impact.”
