A LEIGH woman who is known as the town’s “Banksy” has updated her postbox with her latest knitting creation.
Linda Catling is well-known around Leigh for her seasonal and colourful knitted toppers with which she decorates her local Marine Parade postbox with.
This time round Linda has made a light-hearted protest at the ongoing roadworks in Leigh and the surrounding areas.
The piece, called “Mr Mole and Mr Vole Construction”, suggests that the burrowing mammals might make more timely process than the works currently irrigating the Leigh streets.
She said: “Mr Mole and Mr Vole construction have come along to give a helping hand!”
