A LEIGH charity that helps fight breast cancer is holding an event to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Lady McAdden Breast Cancer Trust will hold the “Ladies that Lunch” event on Friday 7th March in the Rooftop Restaurant at The Holiday Inn, Southend.

The event, from 12.30 to 3.30 is ticketed, and grants guests access to a 2-course meal, alongside a series of engaging interviews with a panel of women, each sharing their unique and inspiring stories.

Radio Essex presenter Su Harrison (of Martin & Su) will be leading the panel of speakers, including Tracy Ralph, a bi-lateral amputee and Outreach Coordinator for The Limbless Association who now supports others facing similar challenges; Suz Sawtell, the founder of Declutter & Breathe, who will share her journey of empowering others through the art of decluttering and mindfulness; Natalie Robinson,a Lady McAdden Charity Champion and breast cancer survivor, who has been a passionate advocate for women’s health, and Danielle Belton – Owner of Saving Energy Ltd, a local councillor, and Lady McAdden Trustee, who continues to inspire others with her commitment to both her community and sustainable energy solutions.

Guests will also have the chance to participate in an exciting raffle and receive a special event goody bag to take home.

 A spokesperson said: “This year’s event promises to be an unforgettable day of empowerment, inspiration, and connection.”

 Lady McAdden is dedicated to the promotion of breast cancer awareness, providing education and support for early detection and preventative care.

The Trust’s mission is to empower everyone to take control of their health, helping to save lives through awareness and access to vital services, and all proceeds from this event will support this vital work.
