THE Leigh Branch of the Lions Club awarded two of its long-standing volunteers for their tireless efforts helping the community.
Leigh Lions Maureen Proietti and John Sanderson were honoured with pins and certificates, presented by Leigh Club President Tim Watts.
A spokesperson said: “Congratulations, Lions John Sanderson and Maureen Proietti on your 15 years of service in Lions International.
“You’ve both contributed so much to club and community.
“Well done.”
