A LEIGH clinic that launched a free menopause support group for women is continuing its commitment to improving community healthcare with a new service designed to help people take a proactive approach to their health, healthy ageing and wellbeing.
Olena Kapinus, founder and practitioner at M.K. Aesthetic Clinic at St Clements Gate 135, has launched the Preventative Longevity Clinic, offering professional health screening, education and personalised support to help clients better understand what may be happening inside their bodies.
Ms Kapinus said: “The idea for the clinic came after my colleague, Emma Gracie, a registered nurse with more than 23 years of clinical experience, and I hosted a series of free Perimenopause and Menopause Awareness Evenings.
“The response from local women was overwhelming and, while the evenings were incredibly well received, one question kept coming up: ‘What solutions can you actually offer us?’
“That question inspired us to create something completely new, expanding beyond aesthetics to combine advanced skin and laser treatments with science-led health screening, giving clients a more personalised and holistic approach to their wellbeing.”
The clinic is now offering what it describes as the UK’s first medically led, test-based nutrition integration system, including a Rapid Baseline Finger-Prick Screening and Professional Phlebotomy and Advanced Screening packages.
The launch also coincides with Emma Gracie joining the clinic as a nurse.
Ms Kapinus said: “Emma is also fully qualified in aesthetic medicine, laser treatments, phlebotomy and test-based nutrition, bringing a wealth of knowledge and compassion to our new clinic.’
She added: “Our hope is that the Preventative Longevity Clinic will become a valuable local resource.”
