TWO renowned Leigh artists will be talking about their life and work in the Beecroft Art gallery as part of Southend’s City Day.
In careers spanning over 70 years, Sheila Appleton and Ian Smith are famous for their bold paintings, many of which feature the local landscape of Old Leigh and its many characters past and present.
The pair will be in lively and an light hearted conversation on Saturday, March 1, from 3.30 to 4.30 pm.
