Southend West MP Anna Firth and James Duddridge MP for Southend East attended the Mencap coffee event at the Novel Coffee Shop on April 3 alongside the Mayor and Mayoress of Southend, and Leigh councillors Beth Hooper and Paul Collins.
Local campaigner Robert Norton said: “I firstly would like to thank the people who attended, and the Novel Coffee Shop.”
