A LEIGH woodland venue is holding an evening of storytelling for adults on Midsummer’s Night.
Belfairs Woodland Centre is hosting storytellers Hannah Brailsford and George Bassett under and between the trees to celebrate the summer solstice with stories.
A spokesperson explains: “Midsummer is a night when magic abounds, darkness is kept at bay, and the fairy realm is close at hand; sit in the story circle and be taken away with tales to delight and disturb.”
Recommended age is 14 plus for children, who must be accompanied by an adult.
Attendees are advised to bring their own chair.
Tickets are £15 per person and can be booked at Belfairs Woodland Centre in person or by telephoning 01702 477467.
