Milestone 100th Birthday

THE staff and residents at St Edith’s Court Care Home, Leigh, came together to host a spectacular 100th birthday celebration for one of their beloved residents.
Joy officially became a centenarian and enjoyed a fabulous day filled with music, decorations, and a specially made birthday cake. Family members, fellow residents, and care staff gathered to honour the milestone, sharing memories and raising a toast to a century of life.
The absolute highlight of the day was when Joy received a personal congratulatory card from King Charles III. Joy was completely overwhelmed by the royal message, which took pride of place among her many birthday cards and gifts. The team at St Edith’s Court pulled out all the stops to ensure the day was unforgettable, transforming the lounge into a festive celebration space.
