THE South East Branch of the Essex Society for Family History will be welcoming a BBC presented to give a talk this July.
Mark Smith, from the BBC’s “Antiques Roadshow” will be giving a talk called: For Valour – The story of the Victoria Cross.
Mr Smith is a military museum curator and a specialist in military medals, and will give the talk at Avenue Baptist Church Hall, Milton Road, Westcliff on Saturday July 1.
The hall opens at 1.30pm for research and friendship, and the talk begins at 2.30pm.
