THE MP for Southend east and Rochford praised a Rochford primary school after paying them a visit.
MP Bayo Alaba visited Waterman Primary School, where he was impressed by the school’s “nurturing, warm environment.”
He explained: “Last week, I had the pleasure of visiting Waterman Primary School.
“I was really touched by the nurturing, warm environment the school has created.”
During his visit, Mr Alaba joined in ‘Thrive Time’ sessions.
He added: “I was able to visit classrooms during ‘Thrive Time’, which is an opportunity for students to develop resilience and learn to regulate their emotions.
“It was also great to sit down with the senior leadership team and discuss how I can support them locally.”
