MP’s Academy Visit

THE Labour MP for Southend West and Leigh visited a Leigh school to meet its students and answer their questions.

 MP David Burton-Sampson enjoyed a visit to The Eastwood Academy on Rayleigh Road.

 He said: “I was privileged to visit The Eastwood Academy.

 “I met so many staff and pupils, all of whom were incredibly proud of their school! And I could see why.

 “The school has worked hard to create an inclusive environment for all pupils with some great facilities.”

 The MP added: “I also really enjoyed being grilled by the School Council. I’m looking forward to visiting again soon!”
