New Patrol Boat - CLUB members from Chalkwell Lifeguards and local residents gathered recently at Chalkwell Shelter for a duel celebration
Leigh On Sea News: New Patrol Boat – CLUB members from Chalkwell Lifeguards and local residents gathered recently at Chalkwell Shelter for a duel celebration of International Women’s Day and also the presentation of a new Takacat Inflatable Patrol boat for the Club to carry out patrols and rescues along Southend City’s Foreshore.
This new craft was very kindly donated by Leigh Round Table members and International Women’s Day was sponsored by Chrissy and Ashley Nichols from Atlantic Pacific’s Unity in Community charity arm.
A spokesperson for the Club said: “We enthusiastically support International Women’s Day every year at Chalkwell Lifeguards and this year was extra special with this day being combined with the presentation of a ground breaking technology new Takacat Inflatable patrol boat for Club members to be able to help in saving lives along Southend Cities foreshore into the future.”
