Two free displays will take place on Tuesday December 31, 2024, offering residents and visitors sparkling opportunity to welcome in 2025.

A family-friendly display with take place at 6pm, perfect for children and early-night revellers. The midnight fireworks will see Southend shine as the clock strikes twelve.
Both displays are the result of an initiative of the Southend Tourism Partnership, with support from Kingpins Southend, Atlantic Pacific, Royals Shopping Centre, Roslin Beach Hotel, and Southend City Council.
Nick Singer, Director of Kingpins Southend, said: “We’re thrilled to support Southend’s first-ever New Year’s Eve fireworks. Whether you’re here for the family-friendly show or counting down to midnight, it’s set to be a fantastic night for everyone.”
Coun Matt Dent, Cabinet Member for Culture, Tourism, and Business, added: “Southend is a city that loves to celebrate, and this exciting addition to our events calendar is another way we’re making Southend a premier destination for residents and visitors alike.
“The fireworks displays promise to be a great experience, and I encourage everyone to come along and help us ring in the New Year in spectacular fashion.”
