THE next online meeting of Chalkwell Ward Residents Association (CWRA) will take place on Wednesday, March 13 and will focus on business growth in the area.
The meeting features a talk from Jacqui Stimpson, Business Growth Manager at Launchpad Southend, the recently opened venture at the Airport Business Park designed to nurture innovative new businesses setting up in the city.
CWRA is a community organisation that aims both to support and inform people living in the ward regarding local issues, from planning, health and education, to transport, parking and waste services, and more.
It holds 10 meetings each year, with five taking place online and five in person.
Meetings provide speakers on local topics of interest and the chance to raise issues of concern and to question one of the three ward councillors.
This meeting will take place via Zoom, starting at 7:30pm.
For information on how to join the meeting, please send an email to [email protected]
Entry is free to members. Non-members may attend in an observer-only capacity at a cost of £1 per person. Further information about CWRA is available at: chalkwell.org.uk or on Facebook: Chalkwell Ward Residents Association.
