Nurse Hilary’s Party

A LEIGH nurse enjoyed a retirement celebration at Highlands Surgery surrounded by patients and well-wishers.

 Nurse Hilary has been with the practice for 40 years, for which many friends and attendees of the surgery gathered to thank her, many recalling fond memories of the decade’s past.

 Local resident Jean de Tourtoulon said: “Dr Shaw helped Hilary cut the cake and resident Les Sawyer read an amusing speech on behalf of all.

 “40 years is a real achievement and patients at the group shared their memories going back to the 80s.”

 Ms de Tourtoulon added: “I thanked her for all she had done.

“Patients also thanked Hilary for all her years of service and dedication, she will be missed by all.”
