With its trademark open-top charm, the renowned service resumed operations on Good Friday, treating passengers to captivating tours of the city from the bustling Southend Pier all the way to the picturesque destination of Leigh, for the Spring half-term.

Operating every 60 minutes daily until Sunday, April 14, and then resuming weekend service from Saturday, April 20, the Ensign bus promises convenient and scenic rides from 10 am to 5 pm.

During the bustling school summer holidays, Ensign amps up the frequency, offering a 30-minute service to accommodate the surge in demand.

Priced at £5 for adults and £3 for children aged five to 15 for the return journey.

Notably, the route’s stellar reputation was solidified when it was crowned Britain’s favourite in the Twitter 2022-2023 World Cup of British Bus Routes, a testament to its enduring appeal and widespread acclaim among passengers nationwide.
