THE popular open top bus that takes passengers along the scenic seafront from Leigh to Southend and back, is set to begin operating from April.
Route 68 will be operating daily during the Easter holidays from Saturday, April 1 until and including Sunday, April 16.
Thereafter it will operate weekends and bank holidays until Sunday, May 21.
For the following half term, the bus will operate daily from Saturday, May 27 until Sunday, June 4 then until Sunday, July 16.
For the summer holidays the bus will again operate daily until Sunday, September 3.
The circular route, which starts and ends at Southend Pier, takes in the Westcliff Arches, Chalkwell Shelter and Chalkwell Station, The Ship pub in Leigh, Leigh Station, Marine Parade Rectory Grove, Leigh Broadway and back East again.
