SOUTHEND Wind Orchestra will perform ‘Paris Olympics’ at the Leigh Wesley Methodist Church, Elm Rd, Leigh, SS9 1SJ on July 7, starting at 18:30.
The programme will include; American in Paris, Widor’s Toccata, Three Paintings by Lautrec, and Finale from Saint-Saëns’ Organ Symphony.
A spokesperson for the Orchestra said: “Our next concert is an exciting one!
“We are delighted to be joined by Organist Rory Windass for our summer concert marking the start of the Paris Olympics! Come along to hear Widor’s Toccata, the Finale from Saint-Saëns’ Organ Symphony and American in Paris, to name only a few of the exciting pieces we will be playing.”
